Voxbone heads announce incredible 450% revenue increase

Voxbone, a leading provider of international VoIP origination services to carriers, ITSPs, calling card operators, call centers and other businesses, today released some financial results for year 2006, and the numbers were record breaking.

Among accomplishments was the boosting of revenues by some 450 percent, while the increase in number of business customers quintupled. And Voxbone managed to increase its employee roster by more than 200 percent as well.

In 2006, Voxbone introduced new trunk services, added support for the Inter-Asterisk eXchange protocol and opened a point of presence in New York. Voxbone services extended to 10 new countries and more than 2,000 new cities in 2006.

Voxbone leases international VoIP virtual phone numbers and worldwide origination services via VoIP to organizations in North and South America, Europe and Asia/Pacific regions. It delivers call origination and provides the global infrastructure that enables its customers to expand to international markets. Using either direct inbound dial or virtual numbers from Voxbone, customers may receive locally dialed phone calls from 50 countries and 4,000 cities throughout the world.

Voxbone was last seen newside a couple of weeks ago with the announced of a deal made with Deltathree, Inc.

The provider of SIP-based VoIP product for service providers and end-users was able to announce the expansion of its Direct Inward Dialing coverage to an additional 24 countries. The augmentation was made possible with assistance from Voxbone, S.A. and gave deltrathree a much-wanted presence in South America, Mexico, Central America, Asia and Eastern Europe, the last of which is Voxbone’s specialty.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Voxbone has VoIP networking in Europe, America and Asia, covering over 4,000 cities in 48 countries.
